The book “Dancing with my Camera”  Edited by Stephanie Rosenthal, this publication is produced on the occasion of Singh’s touring retrospective. The book brings together for the first time the different forms created by the artist in conversation with photographs made over four decades Dayanita Singh will be in conversation with Shreevatsa Nevatia, Consulting Editor, India Today, discussing her book, Dancing with my Camera.

Dayanita Singh (b. 1961, New Delhi) is an artist who has pioneered a genre-defying approach to photography, one that pushes the limits of the medium and the boundaries of how we experience images. Singh frees the photograph from the wall and the book from the bookshelf to create her own unique forms of exhibition and dissemination. She is the first South Asian to win the Hasselblad award.
