Meera will present audio recordings and publications from her current project that explore post/colonial migration histories into the UK. The archive shares the impacts of colonialism in Britain on a social level.
As part of the event we will be screening Rehana Zaman’s film “How Does an Invisible Boy Disappear”. This film emerged from a nine-month collaboration between Zaman and Liverpool Black Women Filmmakers, a new women’s film collective made up of young women from British Somali & Pakistani backgrounds.
