Arthshila Ahmedabad’s Film Showcase this week features ‘Tatsumi’ by Eric Khoo.

Dark nights of the soul unspool in an homage to the late Yoshihiro Tatsumi, who mastered the art of manga as the black rain of world war fell across Japan. Adapting his autobiographical novel ‘A Drifting Life’ to screen, this animation shares with the acclaimed epic a convulsive, dynamic intensity.
