The exhibition, will take us through the lives of artisans from Awadh and the processes behind their creation of crafts that adorn our heritage and culture. Through commissioned pieces of crafts, samples collected from the personal archives of ever-so-gracious Lucknow wallahs and extensive photo documentation of each craftsperson, the exhibition is a study of the past, present and future of the craft of this extremely rich state. Only when craft becomes a choice in everyday life that there will be a change in the economies surrounding it.
