About Madhusudhan Chalasani
Madhusudhan Chalasani is the founder and principal of MADe, an architectural firm based in India and Spain. Before opening his studio in 2007, he worked in several offices in India and with well-known international firms in Europe. Madhusudhan represents MADe which is a collective with a primary focus on public-realm architectural competitions to address rising societal concerns by designing appropriate projects and resonating with people’s collective memory.
About Bijoy Ramachandran
Bijoy Ramachandran founded Hundredhands in 2003 with his partner Sunitha Kondur, and currently serves as the Design Chair for the post-graduate program at BMS College of Architecture in Bengaluru. Ramachandran has a Master’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the MIT and a Bachelor’s degree from BMS College of Architecture; he has also attended the Glenn Murcutt masterclass in Sydney.
Bijoy has worked on a range of master plans and urban design projects with Koetter, Kim & Associates. He has also produced two documentary films: one on the Indian Architect Sri B.V. Doshi and ‘Architecture and the City: A Bangalore Perspective’, on the topic of design practice in Bangalore.
About Prof. Rabindra Vasavada
Rabindra Vasavada has been in his private practice as an Architect and works in the area of Architecture and Heritage Conservation. He has also extensively involved in academics since 1976 primarily with CEPT Ahmedabad and many other institutions in India. He was Head of the Technical Committee of AMC for preparing the World Heritage City Nomination Dossier for Historic city of Ahmedabad.
He has been a member of the National Committee on Conservation Policy for reviewing the ASI Act. He is a consultant to INTACH and is on the Advisory Council of INTACH Heritage Academy, New Delhi. He has also been invited by prestigious institutions in India and abroad to teach and also to present his research works.
